Timber Creek Fellowship provides care to our covenant members through benevolence, as well as our Call Team, Meals Team, and Mentoring Team.

Benevolence

We desire to glorify God by being generous as He blesses and directs us - especially to widows, orphans, and the needy. Our ultimate goal is to provide temporary assistance while directing those in need to more permanent solutions.

Call Team

This team makes quarterly phone calls to all covenant members - to check in, answer questions, respond to felt needs, offer prayer, and more! Our hope is that each member feels loved and supported by their church home.

Goals

  • Care for others more than ourselves (Philippians 2:3-4)
  • Take care of the congregation (John 21:15-17)
  • Slow to speak and quick to listen (James 1:19)
  • Give hope (Titus 2:11-14)

Meals Team

This team seeks to push back the darkness by answering felt needs through their generosity of sharing a meal with others who are medically homebound, welcoming a new baby, or going through bereavement.  The meals team also helps coordinate and host meals at funerals, and provides a monthly meal to the Love Does ministry, a foster and adoptive support group.

"And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts..." Acts 2:46

Mentoring Team

This team is called to see people set free and step into their full giftings by the power of the Holy Spirit! We want to mentor those who desire to improve their mental and emotional stability, as well as increase their faith.  We also want to partner with people in crisis to lead them toward freedom from their past and present bondage.

Goals

  • Set people free from their past and present bondage (John 8:36)
  • Give hope (Titus 2:11-14)
  • Promote health (1 Peter 3:8)
